The Division of Contract Management provides contract development and administrative assistance to all offices or divisions within the Department. The Division also provides overall direction and assistance with contract management and contract dispute resolution.

The Division of Contract Management assists programs with managing their contracts by having programs focus on the "best practices" of contract management. The Division of Contract Management provides training on management issues. When problems arise under a contract, the Division of Contract Management advises programs of their alternatives and assists the program in reaching a resolution to those disputes by assessing the remedies available and/or the grounds for termination.

Marsha is responsible for contract intake, routing and distribution. She is in charge of file development and maintenance. Marsha handles no-cost and fiscal year contract encumbrance approval. She assists the Director in overseeing the Division's budget and administration.

Michelle K. Jones, Contract Specialist IV

Michelle provides review of all types of contracts before submission to the central approvers at the State Controller's Office. She also provides training about contract processes. Michelle is also the main point of contact for the CMS Contract Management System.

Jon provides review of all types of contracts before submission to the central approvers at the State Controller's Office and provides support to the Division on a 2/5 FTE basis.
