Awards

The Administrative Review Division acknowledges and celebrates excellent casework practice with Monthly and Yearly Awards.

Reviewers nominate caseworkers for demonstrating one or more of the following in their work with families:

• Engagement and collaboration through interaction with parents and providers
• Thorough knowledge of the child and family's needs and services
• Accessing or mobilizing resources to meet the child's needs
• Establishing and maintaining life connections for the child
• Outstanding collaboration with other professionals
• Exemplary movement towards permanency

A team of reviewers considers the nominations and selects the Monthly Award winners. The Monthly Award winners are then eligible to receive the Years Award honor. The Yearly Award winners also exhibit the following with their families:

• Open mindedness
• Creative solutions
• Strong collaboration
• Persistence
• Going above and beyond or taking the extra steps necessary to achieve safe permanency for children
