CDHS is currently making changes to the training system under advisement of the Training Steering Committee (TSC). Steps are being taken to identify new modes of training delivery and ways to administer training contracts more efficiently. Funds were appropriated for enhanced training and resources for Colorado’s first responders, mandatory reporters and county child welfare workers. Curriculum development and converting the appropriate curricula into a web-based format is in an early draft stage. CDHS is partnering with the Kempe Center, county departments, mandatory reporters, first responders and the child welfare community to develop the curriculum.
Regular information related to the Training Steering Committee will be posted here such as meeting notices, agendas, membership and minutes.
Meeting Notice: The next meeting of the Training Steering Committee will be Tuesday, July 25, 2103 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fort Logan in room B-106. If you have any questions, please contact Deb Nelson at 303-866-3326.
