The Colorado Department of Human Services Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) develops and addresses Human Services policy issues brought before it through collaboration, cooperation and effective communication on a statewide basis to improve the process of delivery of services for children, families, and adults across the state of Colorado. The PAC then submits recommendations to the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Human Services along with implementation plans for approval.Child Welfare SubPAC

The PAC consists of several subcommittees including the Child Welfare Sub Policy Advisory Committee (Child Welfare SubPAC) to address the complex human services issues.

The Child Welfare SubPAC is made up of eight task groups:

(1) Administrative Review Division,

(2) Child Protection,

(3) Child Welfare Coverage,

(4) Colorado Trails,

(5) Developmental Disabilities,

(6) Federal Funding,

(7) Pathways to Citizenship and

(8) Permanency.
