Kinship Care

Kinship caregivers are people who are raising a relative’s child or adolescent; or, in many situations are raising a child or adolescent that is not related but with whom there is a significant connection and commitment to provide care as long as necessary. As kinship caregivers you are not alone, and instead you are a member of a large and growing community of caring people in Colorado.

Colorado has a website, Colorado Kinship Connection, that provides local and statewide information about organizations and programs that may be helpful for kinship caregivers.
If you have any questions about Kinship Care, please contact Jeannie Berzinskas at 303-866-4617.
