RESOURCE MATERIALS
- Early Childhood Social-Emotional and Mental Health Navigation Guide, an online tool for decision-making and finding early childhood mental health/social-emotional resources in Colorado. Please contact sarah.hoover@ucdenver.edu or 303.724.7635 with any questions.
- Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Child and Adult Care Food Program
- The National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care and Early Education’s “Use of Water and 100% Juice” Toolkit is now available at http://nrckids.org/ToolKit/WaterJuiceToolkitCombined.pdf. Tailored to specific audiences (licensing agencies, child care providers, and legislators), each action sheet within the toolkit provides tips, facts, and suggestions to promote the use of water and 100% juice for the children entrusted to our care.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
- Reducing the Risk of SIDS in Child Care provided
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Healthy Child Care America is pleased to announce the release of a new online module on Reducing the Risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in Child Care! Based off of the AAP Reducing the Risk of SIDS in Child Care Speakers Kit, this FREE course is designed to educate everyone who cares for babies, including child care providers, health care professionals, parents, grandparents, and relatives.
- Early Childhood Professional Credentials
Information regarding Colorado's voluntary Early Childhood Professional Credential may be obtained by visiting the Office of Professional Development website or by calling 303-866-3623.
- Pre-Licensing Training
Please contact one of the Department of Human Services Approved Pre-Licensing Vendors. For potential Family Child Care Home Providers, this training must be completed prior to the initial licensing visit.
- First Aid and CPR Training
