Employee Advisory Committee

The Division of Youth Corrections (DYC), Employee’s Advisory Committee (EAC), was established on January 30, 1991. The purpose of the committee is to facilitate communications between the employees and administration. The delegates of the advisory committee act as an advisory group, responsible to represent the concerns, opinions, and solutions of the employee. By acting as an advisory group, the committee researches and makes recommendations to the administration on matters that effect the jobs of DYC employees; including such areas as policies, procedures, work environment, communication and morale. The Employee Advisory Committee sponsors a number of employee centered events throughout the year. Events such as an annual softball tournament, Staff Appreciation Picnics and employee centered recognitions.
