Patient Safety Program

The goal of CMHI-FL’s Patient Safety Program is to develop a collaborative strategy to improve patient safety and health outcomes at the hospital.  To that end, the Patient Safety Program focuses on improving patient safety system-wide; developing best practices based on the best evidence; creating a collaborative environment that fosters respect and trust, where each team member input is valued and creating a learning environment that nurtures information sharing, is non-punitive, and relies on evidence to generate innovations.
