Medical Staff

The Medical Staff is composed of physicians who specialize in psychiatry, physicians of the medical clinic, and a dentist.  The primary purpose of the medical staff is to ensure that all individuals treated at CMHIFL will receive the best possible psychiatric and medical care.  They psychiatrists are board certified or board eligible and each is a member of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado Denver.  The medical staff provides patient services 24 hours per day.

All multidisciplinary treatment teams are under the direction of a physician who is one of the medical staff psychiatrists. In addition to direct care services to patients, the medical staff provides an appropriate educational setting for the training of medical students, interns, residents and fellows with the goal of maintaining and promoting the highest levels of professional knowledge and skills in the fields of medicine and psychiatry.
