Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy helps people with mental illness cope with the difficulties they encounter in managing daily life such as: identifying and using community resources and support systems, managing personal care, carrying out responsibilities in the home, developing daily routines that support a healthy lifestyle, interacting successfully with others, managing stress, planning and using leisure time in productive and personally meaningful ways.

Occupational Therapy practitioners help clients identify the goals they would like to achieve by working with activities in which they can practice life skills and increase their ability to function in home and work environments
