Joan Weber is currently the Benefits and Risk Manager for the City of Englewood.  She is a business graduate and has earned certification as an Associate of Risk Management (ARM), Certified Risk Management (CRM), and Certified Ergonomic Evaluator Specialist (CEES).  Her career includes extensive experience related to Fully Insured, Self-insured, High deductible, and Retrospective funding insurance plans as well as claims management, risk financing, loss control, safety and wellness programs.  She was Chairman of the CIRSA Healthcare Study Group which studied options for affordable healthcare for members of the pool.  She has worked for both private as well as public employers and served as a consultant to several small employers in the field of risk management. 

Joan has been married to Tom, an electronics technician for thirty-one years and they have two adult daughters.  Karen and her husband are teachers in Weld County.  Anna is a senior at UCD and plans on entering law school.
