Dan Stenersen

Dan Stenersen is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Shalom Park, a not-for-profit continuum-of-care retirement community offering the finest in nursing home care, as well as independent housing with assistance services.  Shalom Park is nationally recognized for its innovative approaches to care for seniors.

Throughout his nearly 30-year career as a health care professional, Dan has devoted his career to faith-based, mission-oriented, not-for-profit organizations, serving as President and chief executive of three continuum of care retirement corporations and as vice president of a regional health care association.  He holds two graduate degrees, a post-graduate degree, and a certificate in gerontology.  He is licensed as a nursing home administrator by the National Administrators Board and the State Boards of Colorado and Ohio.

Dan is a past board member of the Association of Jewish Aging Services, a current member, past president and past treasurer of the Colorado Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and a past member of the House of Delegates of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.  He has received national awards for innovation in services to the elderly, held a variety of university faculty appointments, served on numerous organization and community boards, and been appointed to diverse state and national regulatory committees and task forces.
