Pam Nicholson

Pam has served members of the Centura Health family for more than 18 years, most recently as senior vice president for Advocacy and Community Partnerships. In this role, she is responsible for developing and cultivating Centura's advocacy program to support operational and reimbursement strategies, as well as promoting the mission and vision of Centura Health. She is responsible for educating external parties on health care issues and analyzing and developing legislative positions for Centura Health.

Pam is committed to Centura Health's being an integral part of our communities and improving the health status of the communities we serve. She is involved in multiple projects and pilots across the state to improve access to health care for all Coloradoans. She also has extensive experience in managed care operations, payer relations, contracting, claims management, benefit design and physician relations and network development.

Pam is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Medical Group Management Association and American College of Healthcare Executives. She was appointed to Governor Owens' Commission for Mandated Health Benefits and is a Bighorn Leadership Fellow. She also has led the development, lobbying and execution of key campaigns, coalitions and legislation on behalf of Centura Health and the hospital industry. Pam received her undergraduate degree in business at Idaho State University and her masters in business administration from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
