Biochemistry Laboratory

The biochemistry laboratory provides analytical support to the Divisions of ICS, Plant Industry and Conservation Services. Analysis is performed on a variety of matrices including animal feeds, fertilizers, soil, vegetation, and water.
Our laboratory also includes a microbiology section. This employs microbiological techniques to analyze human and animal foods for harmful bacteria and to examine animal feeds for the presence of antibiotics.
