Specific personal tax information must be provided to check your refund status. You must have your Social Security Number (for joint filings, the primary Social Security Number used for the filing) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) AND ONE of the following:

• The refund amount requested on your most recent return submitted to the Department of Revenue, or
• Federal Adjusted Gross Income on your most recent Colorado return submitted to the department, or
• Estimated payment amount, or
• A Personal Identification Number or PIN issued by the department, or

A letter ID number. Letter IDs start with the letter "L." If you have not received a letter from the department, you may "Request a Letter ID" to use to get the status of your refund.
